They were dropped last week for indiscretions untold
But Parys, Fola, Hanlon and Westcarr were returned to the fold
Smith, Nolan and Asbo were dropped, I hope they were not offended
Bunce and Mark Peters also missed out, as they were both suspended.
You could argue that making 5 changes was a little extreme..
would the disruption have a negative effect on the team?
The U's started well with some neat build up play
but soon after that you could tell - it was not to be our day...
When did we last win 3 in a row?
It's been a long time
We pleaded for the run to go
so we could party like 1999!
Buzz Lightyear has Zurg and his evil minions
But Uniteds Nemesis was to be the right foot of Tinnions
The free kick itself was certainly not deserved
But the strike from Tinnion had curle..and it swerved
Howie had no chance, the strike was world class
He scrambled towards it but fell on his arse.
We struggled to link defence with attack
And Buzz said it's a goal scorer we lack
But last week we pressed, we probed! we were eager!
This week we flapped, sat back, our passing was meagre
Fola came close to scoring but we finished the half with a goal deficit.
What word would Buzz use at half time?, and what words would rhyme with it?

Whatever Buzz said it was clear the U's were affected
Bridges shot was wide while Hanlons was deflected
Westcar struck well..we were already cheering
But his shot was saved, best get another beer in...!
Aldershot breathed a sigh of relief, United turned the air blue
A few minutes later things got worse as the Shots got number two
It was a cross from deep, Matt Somner the architect,
Sills headed a goal - our defending was suspect...
Cambridge failed to get themselves back in the game,
We had a few chances, but they were all pretty lame.
And as the game finally came to an end,
It's fair to say we weren't good enough; there's no need to pretend.

Even though the football match was quite sour,
we had prepared something with egg, sugar and flour.
For Buzz Lightyear's 10th Bithday we made him a cake,
It's Buzz's birthday not Rob's for goodness sake!
Next up for Cambridge is Doncaster Rovers
But we'll need the luck of seven four-leaved clovers.
Having said that, it's the LDV afterall,
And anything can happen in a game of football!
