The match began, and before too long it was evident that I had chosen the wrong team to support. Tigres, Club America's opponents, were far the better side. All the Club America fans around me were very miserable, and their mood rubbed off on to me...
With the score at 1-4, and my new-found favourite Mexican team crashing out of the cup - I simply couldn't watch another ball being kicked.
