Buzz in Mexico
Part One
With the help of a friend of Buzz On Tour, Buzz recently spent some time in Mexico.
Here is Buzz's account of his trip...
I arrive in Mexico and discover I still have a week until Club America play in the now legendary Aztec Stadium. I had a week to kill so decided to immerse myself fully in Mexican culture. First thing on my to-do list is to disguise myself in the local costume. Can you tell which one I am?
Leon Trotsky, famous exiled Russian chap and all round good egg was assassinated in this house by Stalin's henchmen in a row over image rights with Colonel Saunders and the future direction of Communism. Being a high profile action hero, I was commissioned to guard this very spot with my life. Which I did so for 48 hours.
This here city was called Teotichuan by the Aztecs, translated as the city where men became gods. Nobody has any idea what it was really called, why or how they built it and where they all went. It reminded me of the South Stand.
